Manifesting during COVID-19

Hopefully, this blog post will break up the monotony of the quarantine and perhaps give you a new perspective. These past couple of weeks we have been having a wide range of emotions and full of changes for many of us. I have been seeing two messages about how to utilize our time in quarantine.
The first message is “Take time for yourself to do whatever your body needs” (nap, lounge around, exercise, etc) and the other message is “Use this time to start a side hustle or passion project”. Either message is not wrong, but they are useful for different people. My previous posts have been about how to manage mental wellness resources for anxiety or depression while quarantined. So now, I’ll be giving you tips about how to use this time to reset and recalibrate.
Remember a couple of weeks ago, I started talking about manifestation and the law of attraction? (I’m imagining you nodding your head right now). This would be a perfect time to take a look at all of the categories in your life and really take a look at them. It’s human nature to have certain areas of our lives that we excel at, areas where we are managing, and areas where we are struggling.
Financial
Social
Relationships with family
Parenting
School
Work/Career
Marriage/Relationship
Personal Goals
Health
Hobbies/Leisure
These are only some of the categories of our lives and I want you to truly take a second and evaluate how satisfied you are in these areas.
Is there room for growth?
Have your goals changed over time or have you lost your drive in that area? I
f you are excelling in a specific area, what brings you the most joy, is this a priority in your life?
Are you where you want to be?
Manifesting is about creating what you want from the world or your reality by your thoughts and intentions. If you want something, speak it into existence and be open to the ways that the universe presents it to you. When you’re manifesting, be sure to be intentional about what you are asking from the universe and being open to the unconventional way so that you don’t miss signs that come your way.
How do I manifest and set intentions? Let’s walk through the steps!
BE POSITIVE AND SPECIFIC: Be clear and positive about what you want to focus on or what your goal is
SET A TIME FRAME: Give a time frame so that you can see results and add goals or reframe them!
RECOMMIT TO YOUR INTENTION EVERY DAY: How do you plan to stay committed or to remind yourself of your intention? By journaling, meditating, or reflecting about what you want to accomplish that today to move towards your goa?
Continue to ask yourself if this aligns with the person that you want to become.
LIVE IN YOUR INTENTION! Are the choices you are making going to benefit your goal? Is the way I’m thinking about this making me open to new ideas or possibilities?

This period of time is nothing that anyone has experienced before and it can be triggering to many of us. Please remember to show yourself compassion and patience! Life should not constantly be about how much produce, but committed you are to different parts of your life. The universe is sending us this time to reflect on our lives and the world around us, so be sure to use it! Join me in evaluating our lives, embracing the change, and curating the lives that we want to live.
